    What to prepare?
     
    • Presentation Duration: between 8:00 to 10:00 minutes - Files longer than 10:00 minutes will not be accepted
    • Your presentation has to be saved as a .mp4 video file - No other file format can be accepted
    • Here is a link leading to a video converter if needed : https://cloudconvert.com/mov-to-mp4
    • Do not send us a .ppt file with an audio in it, it will not be accepted
    • 4:3 format preferred (fits best to the stream screen layout)
    • Quality 720p - Do not send us full HD, it will not be accepted

    How to create the .mp4 file?  
    • The following slides are featuring a tutorial on how to record your presentation with Powerpoint Office 365. If you have an older version of PowerPoint, you can see instructions HERE. However, as long as your final video follows the guidelines above, you are free to do it another way. You will find plenty of tutorials online.

  • Abstract Submission

    Authors wishing to submit an abstract may do so by sending an abstract (150 - 300 words) to http://ees.elsevier.com/procir/default.asp
    Submittal Format: MS-Word or PDF

    CIRP Life Cycle Engineering 2020 - Abstract Submission Process
     
    1. Visit: http://ees.elsevier.com/procir/default.asp
    2. Log in (on the top right side of page), then use Author log in.
    3. Register a new account only if you do not already have one.
    4. Under New Submissions section, select 'Submit New Manuscript'
    5. Section Article Type selection : Please select “SI: LCE 2020” from the dropdown menu.
    6. Section Attach Files : Please select “Abstract“ from the Item dropdown menu.
    7. Section General Information : Please select a topics from the Classifications dropdown menu.
    8. Section Review Preferences : Please select “Daniel Brissaud” from the request Editor dropdown menu.
    9. Additional Information: Please check “No” and “No”.
    10. Before approving the PDF built, make sure you double-check the format especially layout of figures and tables.

    > Submittal deadline: June 15, 2019
    > Abstract Approval Notification: July 5, 2019
  • Manuscript Submission

    Paper length: 3- 6 pages, please ensure that all figures are 300 dpi resolution, abstract, 50-100 words.

    1. Visit: http://ees.elsevier.com/procir/default.asp
    2. Log in (on the top right side of page), then use Author log in.
    3. This takes you to the Author Main Menu. Click [Submissions Needing Revision]. Do not submit it as a new submission, but as a revision of your abstract.
    4. Download your paper in MS Word and in PDF
    5. Select “Daniel Brissaud” from the request Editor dropdown menu.
